The Saint Charles Convention Center will host its 19th annual Helping Hands for the Holidays charity event on December 15, 2026, from 4:00PM to 7:00PM The free event provides practical assistance and holiday support to individuals and families in the community.
Guests will have access to hot meals, personal care items, health resources, holiday activities, and services offered by local organizations and community partners. The event provides a welcoming space where individuals and families can enjoy a holiday meal, access essential resources, and connect with organizations that serve the community.
Helping Hands for the Holidays is organized by the Saint Charles Convention Center in partnership with local organizations, community partners, and representatives from the City and County of St. Charles. Through this collaboration, participating organizations work together to connect community members with resources and support during the holiday season.
The 2025 event welcomed 700 guests. Local businesses and community members also donated more than 3,300 winter apparel items and six pallets of personal care products. Remaining donations were distributed through Compass Health Network throughout the winter, extending the impact of the event beyond the holiday season.
The 2026 event is open to anyone seeking support, comfort, or connection during the holiday season. No registration is required to attend.
