Improved Water Access for Guests

New Bottle-Filling Stations at the Convention Center

The Saint Charles Convention Center has undergone renovations, replacing the majority of water fountains with bottle-filling stations.

Use of shared drinking fountains has decreased post-pandemic. To improve sanitation for staff and patrons, these bottle-filling stations let people fill personal water bottles with cold, filtered water instead of drinking directly from a shared fountain.

These stations will help reduce wait times at large events by quickly filling bottles. They can also lower costs for guests who purchase bottled water and eliminate the need for water coolers and staff to transport and replace heavy water jugs.

There are now four water-filling stations available on the upper level and five stations on the lower level that are available to the public.

The Saint Charles Convention Center continues to identify ongoing improvements to the building to make it an enjoyable experience for its clients and patrons.
