At the Fall 2023 St. Louis Business Expo, the St. Charles Convention Center was honored to accept Meet Magazine’s Venue Excellence Award.
Voted on by writers and editors of Meet Magazine, the St. Charles Convention Center was chosen largely in part to the venue’s response to COVID-19. As many venues were forced to shut down, SCCC leadership was quick to bring in state of the art equipment in AtmosAir and put into place safety measures to continue to hold meetings and hold them safely.
“[Our staff’s] commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and passion for creating memorable events have set us apart and made a lasting impact on our industry,” says General Manager Mark Tenholder, “every department has played a crucial role in achieving this recognition. [Our staff’s] professionalism, creativity, and unwavering dedication have truly made our convention center a standout venue.”
Along with the response to COVID-19, the continuous exceptional service and excellence in the meetings and events industries and hardworking and dedicated staff earned this award. It is a celebration of the exceptional team we have, and the hard work that has elevated the SCCC in the eyes of clients and partners. Each and every department works hard to make our venue standout, and now we’re officially an excellent venue.
