Saint Charles Convention Center to Transition to a Cashless Venue

Effective April 1, 2025, the Saint Charles Convention Center (SCCC) will transition to a cashless venue for all food and beverage purchases. This change aligns with industry best practices and is designed to enhance efficiency, security, and the overall guest experience.

What to Expect

  • Food & Beverage Purchases: Beginning April 1, all SCCC-operated concessions, bars, and dining locations will only accept digital payments, including credit/debit cards and mobile payment options such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
  • Ticket Purchases: The box office will continue to accept cash for ticket sales.
  • Vendors at Consumer & Trade Shows: Vendors at events will not be affected by this change and may continue accepting cash or card at their discretion. An ATM will remain on-site for guest convenience.
  • Guests with Cash: Guests who only have cash and wish to purchase food or beverages can visit Guest Services (when open) to purchase an SCCC Gift Card, which can be used at on-site SCCC food and beverage location.
